Innocent Man Denied Release from California Prison

After nearly 16 behind bars for a crime he did not commit, Reggie Cole was mere hours away from freedom. His friends and family, as well as the staff and students of the California Innocence Project, which helped to free him, were waiting to greet him as he embarked on a new life. But in a dramatic turn of events, Reggie Cole today remains in prison.

Justin Brooks, Director of the California Innocence Project, based at California Western, has more on the latest in this complex case.
